33 and loving it

| | Comments (2)

Today is my 33rd birthday. I'm a little older and a little wiser, but I refuse to grow up. I truly believe a young mind is required to survive in this crazy world. From the drivers that don't know how to read English on the signs to the people you come in to contact daily, you just have to know how to laugh.

You often hear about people getting depressed cause they are getting older, but come on now, how bad is it?

Just the other day I went into the store to buy some Tequilla, and I got carded. I told the lady she made my day.

Have a great day and an awsome Christmas.

Be safe.

RIP - Christmas Tree

Time of Death - 8AM PST.

What a sad day today is. This is the first Christmas tree that I have had that did not make it to Christmas. Since we live in a area of the world that is lacking some good tree farms, we went to a tree lot this year. It was almost too good to be true. We found our tree in 5 minutes, It was perfect, 8 ft, very full and smelled great. I fed it and took great care of it, but it appears that the harsh elements took its toll. We've been in the high 20's to low 30's in the mornings and next to no humidity in the air. On top of that we've had to run the heater a bit more this year.

Our beloved tree is now a shade of brown and a bit crunchy. By no means am I going to convert to a metal tree next year.

I hope that everyone is having a great CHRISTMAS time and that everyone stays safe.

RIP - Christmas tree.
