You're joking right?

At this point in the game, I am not happy with any of the chosen Presidental canidates. However, instead of not voting like I really want to do, we really have to pick the lesser of the two evils.

Take the time to watch this as this guy covers some very important issues here that would turn around this country.

 

Please take 13 minutes and watch this video. It brings out some very important questions regarding Obama. Please watch with an open mind and ask yourself if you want this guy leading our great country.

 

I typically not post these type of things, but this one is just too good to pass on. It is very simple, but to the point. The question that I ask you is this. What have these people done for the world?

My dad passed this over the other day and I just had to share. By far, this was a great day for baseball, our national past time, and our country. The sad thing is that I doubt that you will ever see something like this again. Have we totally lost our pride in our country? Are you willing to stand up for your country?

Don't get me wrong, I love free speech and expression, but we need people to stand up for our country. Values. Beliefs. I don't like the fact that everyone is worried about offending everyone. I really sucks.

For years now I have been wondering who would be the GOP candidate for the upcoming '08 elections. I'd always guess that McCain would jump in, but I really don't think he has the personality to really be a great President. I think he has some great visions on how to handle Iraq, but the overall package is somewhat lacking. I'd always been hoping that Fred Thompson would consider running and when he finally announced his candidacy I was super stoked. Yes he was a little late, but I think he had what it would take to become the next President of the United States. The fiscal conservative and small government ideas really play well with me. Well, Fred has somewhat stumbled out of the gate and I think it has to do with the fact that his people were really playing him up that he was the "chosen one" and that he was expecting the nomination to be given to him. I don't think he pressed hard enough and the poll numbers show that today. You let me down Fred. I think you've missed your opportunity.

We need to find someone that will lead this country for the next 4 years and that can't be a Democrat!

I typically don't send these type of emails on since we get enough SPAM type of message everyday, but this one was too good to pass on.

"I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week, we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere.

Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore.

I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be.... quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.

Now lets see.... our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be an  automatic citizen. Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly! our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English; Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder. "

This is the kind of home coming our troops deserve. I still get the chills every time I watch this.
